What You Should Know About Laser Toner Cartridges

The people who make a laser toner cartridge products do lots of testing and design research, to come up with the most efficient products. Most of these companies also make the machines that they are used in, but some of the numerous new companies selling refills only make the ink and laser toner cartridge products themselves. For them to test their toner and ink products, they have to do like you and go out somewhere and buy a machine and test original cartridges and then test their product and compare to see if they both work the same way.

Text and image quality, print definition, adhesion, density and page life (how many pages can you print on one refill, for example are some of the things they test for. Because laser machines are so expensive, most people use ink jet instead. What is the advantage to buying such a machine, in that case? Well if you use a machine that employs laser toner cartridge technology, you will soon find that it is faster. A laser can move very quickly, so it can print text at lightening fast speed compared to other kinds of printers like ink jet. Because the laser beam has an unvarying diameter, the print it does can be super consistent, and not waste any extra ink. So the quality and speed are big factors. But one of the most economic factors is that toner is cheap and lasts a long time, while you can use up expensive liquid type ink jet ink cartridges very quickly.

Big companies have all sorts of printers, but if they are doing a huge print job they will use their laser printer because the ink cost is cheaper with laser toner cartridge inks. And they are used to doing big jobs, so that a laser printer will do all the work needed by a busy medium sized or smaller office.
